About us

Working together for people, dignity, and a better future

My Good World is a nonprofit organization based in Nepal, committed to standing with people and communities when support is needed most. Our work responds to the real needs in communities, focusing on older people, children, persons with disabilities, and families affected by disasters. We work with communities, government bodies, health organizations, researchers, and other partners to provide practical support and create meaningful change. Good World is registered in Nepal and committed to responsible, collaborative work for the well-being of people and communities.

Our Work in Action

Disaster Response

We support communities affected by disasters and emergencies, currently working with communities in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading, focusing on psychosocial support, referrals, and urgent needs.

Education Support

We help children and families facing financial hardship with school materials, uniforms, and bags, and support children in difficult circumstances, including orphans or children from vulnerable families, so that costs don't keep them out of school. And, for children facing violence or severe family hardship, we focus on safe, dignified support rather than sharing sensitive details publicly.

Older People and Well-Being

We listen to older people's lived experiences, challenges, and strengths, and through research in Panchkhal we try to understand what affects their well-being.

Disability Inclusion

We respond to practical needs that make everyday life more accessible. Where support is needed, we help connect individuals and families with appropriate assistance, including mobility support such as wheelchairs, and in districts such as Makwanpur, Dolakha, and Ramechhap

Listening. Learning. Creating Change

We bring together community experiences and research to understand real issues people face. Our current research spans Sindhupalchok, Kavrepalanchok, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Makwanpur, Rasuwa, Dhading, and Nuwakot, working with researchers, professors, and graduate students.

Youth skills and empowerment

We work with older people to understand their challenges, support their well-being, and recognize their strengths, abilities, and valuable roles in their families and communities.
